In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of music and podcast apps on the Android platform in Greece showcased various trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $30.6K in late February. Weekly downloads remained stable, with a peak of around 5.7K in mid-March. Active users fluctuated slightly, ranging from 744K to 784K throughout the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced a varied download trend, starting at 4.5K in early January and ending at 2.3K by March. Active users showed a decline from 378K to 352K by the end of the quarter.

Radio Greece - online radio had consistent weekly downloads, with a notable increase to 3.6K in late March. Active users slightly increased, starting at 16.8K and reaching 17.7K by quarter-end.

Radio Point downloads surged dramatically in March, reaching 19.4K by the end of the month, after a modest start earlier in the quarter.

YouTube Music downloads peaked at 2.8K in early February before declining to 972 by the end of March. However, active users rose from 297K to 323K, indicating strong user engagement.
